VIRTUAL TICKETING PROCEDURES.
Please review carefully before using Virtual Ticketing.
  • Register for Virtual Ticketing at any time. Please note that registrations are limited to one per person and multiple registrations per individual may jeopardize your chance to receive tickets.
  • Log on between midnight and 1PM on the day of the performance you want to see to submit a request for two tickets through either general or senior Virtual Ticketing.
  • An email will be sent to you by 5pm that day if you have received tickets.
  • You can also log-on again to the Virtual Ticketing site to see if you have received tickets.
  • Virtual Ticketing participants are chosen at random to receive tickets, not in the order requests are received.
  • Tickets will be held at The Delacorte Theater Box Office under the name that you used for registration.
  • Pick-up will be available from 5PM-7PM only. Tickets are limited to one pair per person regardless of the number of email confirmations you receive.
  • Tickets not picked up by 7PM will be released to the stand-by line.
  • All performances begin at 8PM.
  • Specific seat locations are not available through Virtual Ticketing.
  • The person who registered/signed in must present government issued photo ID when picking up tickets.
  • For Senior Virtual Ticketing: The person who registered/signed in must present government issued photo ID that proves age (65 or over) when picking up tickets.
  • For Virtual Ticketing for People with Disabilities: The person who registered/signed in must present government issued photo ID and proof of disability when picking up tickets.
  • The name on the photo ID must match the name used when registering for Virtual Ticketing.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES:

Ticket Policy
Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources (e.g. Craigslist, eBay, and other resale venues) may have been lost, stolen or obtained improperly. Public Theater/ Shakespeare in the Park has the right to deny admission to the holder of these tickets. Any ticket purchases from unauthorized sources are at the buyers' own risk and do not guarantee seats at a performance.

Rain Policy
In the event of rain the start of the performance may be delayed. However, the production will be performed if and when it is possible to do so. If a performance is canceled due to rain or any other reason, tickets are not valid for re-issue or exchange.

Concessions/Food Policy
The concession stand offers an assortment of snacks and beverages including sandwiches, soda, wine and beer. Theatergoers are allowed to bring food/beverages into the theater as long as everything fits under their seat. However, no glass containers are allowed inside the theater.

Please note:
  • Any disagreements about Virtual Ticketing policies will be settled at the discretion of Public Theater management.
  • Public Theater management makes every best effort to ensure fair and equal treatment for everyone and has the right to remove any person who disrupts or negatively affects other patrons' experience on the lines or in the audience.
  • Public Theater management has tried to anticipate all foreseeable situations that require ticketing policies but may need to occasionally issue rules not specified here should an unusual situation arise.
The theater will open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain.
